Humanitarian Response

Disaster Response & Recovery

Locally led evacuation, relief and livelihood recovery shaped by ACD's origins in the Dadu floods.

ACD was founded on 21 September 2010 in response to the floods affecting District Dadu, and continued its work through the 2012 and 2022 emergencies.

The organisation has supported evacuation, food supplies and recovery, then linked affected families with education, skills and livelihood pathways.
